Kans Kok is a social project that trains people facing barriers to employment for work in the hospitality industry. In our kitchen, participants learn to cook, collaborate, and work in a professional environment.

– participants receive practical training

– people are guided towards employment

The Leiden Migrant Support Center Foundation invites all Leiden residents to a special evening of connection, dining together, and discussing the future of our city.
🌙 We’ll start with a festive Iftar where everyone is welcome – whether you’re fasting or not.
🍲 Enjoy delicious dishes from around the world, prepared by our World Kitchen volunteers.
🎶 Live guitar music and songs about love, hope, and solidarity.
Afterward, we’ll engage in conversation.
🗳️ Your vote counts! Democracy in action.
In the run-up to the municipal elections on March 18, Leiden residents will meet with members of all Leiden political parties.
Together we’ll discuss topics that affect us all:
* A fair energy transition & affordable housing
* A friendly and equitable parking policy
* Het Volkshuis as the cultural heart of the city
