On November 28th, we’d like to discuss What happens after the elections?
We’ll discuss how new cabinets are formed in the Netherlands and share ideas about the future.

We are currently running an energy-saving campaign for the clients of the Leiden Food Bank.

 

 

Together against energy poverty, together for a sustainable future! ✨🌍

 

The Leiden Migrant Support Desk – Multilingual Energy Helpdesk is collaborating with the Leiden Food Bank to support residents in saving energy and accelerating the energy transition. 💡💚

 

By connecting directly with the Food Bank’s clients, we offer:

 

✔ Personal energy advice – Practical tips and guidance for a more sustainable home.

 

✔ Awareness & knowledge – Information campaigns and meetings about energy conservation.

 

✔ Concrete help – Support with small energy-saving measures such as radiator foil, draft excluders, and LED lighting.

 

✔ Reporting function – Identifying dire living situations and reporting them to housing associations and agencies for structural improvements.

The Leids Migrant Support Locket (LSM) is organizing the second preparation evening on Friday 17 October for everyone who is not yet sure which party he or she wants to vote for.
Under the motto “Your voice matters! “This evening, visitors will learn more about the Dutch political landscape in a practical and accessible way – and they themselves get to work with the Vote Wijzer.
During this interactive evening, LSM helps participants discover step by step what parties think is important and where their own preference is. The meeting is headed by day chairperson Marisa Monsanto.
In between there is plenty of room for meeting, with snacks, drinks and live music 🎶.
